LectureTube administration interface
Overview
The LectureTube administration interface allows you to manage your video content efficiently.
Once you have logged in to the site, you have the option of managing your videos, uploading them or recording them via the browser.

The following options are available in the left-hand navigation bar:
- Home: The start page of the Management UI, where you can look up general information and links to instructions
- Videos: Management page of your individual videos
- Series: Management page of your LectureTube series
- Upload: Upload videos to your LectureTube series
- Studio: Record videos via the browser

Videos - edit metadata, cut videos, retrieve videos
Click on “Videos” in the left-hand navigation menu to filter and manage your videos. You can use the icons under “Actions” to edit the metadata of the videos (pencil icon) or edit the videos and their automatically generated subtitles (scissors icon). You can also play the videos in a new tab (play icon).

Series - Edit metadata, upload videos
Click on “Series” in the left-hand navigation menu to filter and manage your series. You can use the icons under “Actions” to edit the metadata of the series (pencil icon) or upload videos to the respective series (upload icon).

Upload - upload videos
Under “Upload videos” in the left navigation menu, you can upload videos to one of your series.

Studio - Record videos via the browser
Via “Studio” in the left navigation menu you will be redirected to the LectureTube Studio. The LectureTube Studio allows you to record videos via your browser, which you can then download or transfer directly to LectureTube. You can find more information on this in the LectureTube Studio instructions.

Visibility
To set the visibility of videos, please go to the LectureTube Verwaltungsoberfläche in the “Visibility” section.
Visibility of series
In the side menu bar, you will find the “Series” tab, among other things. Here, under Actions for the selected series, you can click on the pencil icon with the “Edit” function.

A menu will then open with the tabs “Metadata” and “Access.”
Under “Access,” you will find the access policies. There are several options here, which can be seen in Figures 16.

In the access list, you can add users and set their permissions to “Read” and “Write,” as well as delete users.
Then save the settings with the “Update” button.

Video visibility
To set the visibility of individual videos, select “Videos” in the side menu bar.
There you can see your videos. You can use the search bar to search for a specific video.
Here you can edit the visibility, such as “Visibility in series,” using the pencil icon.

Link to video platform
If you want to quickly open the video or series on the video page, there is a video button under Actions that takes you directly to the selected video or series.

Sneak Peek - Delete videos and edit permissions
In future, you will also be able to use the administration interface to delete videos you do not need and to change the permissions of individual videos.
