How are the students allocated to the lecture halls for presence-exams?

Answer

For an examination date, lecturers can assign the students to the individual lecture halls via the course administration in TISS. This can be done by creating appointments with the individual lecture halls. Then, the students can register themselves to these appointments in one of the rooms. Another possibility is that all students first register in only one lecture hall. The assignment to the examination rooms is then made afterwards by the lecturers.

However, the allocation of the students must take place before the access-authorization is issued, which is 24 hours before the exam. The authorization is sent automatically to the students.

Note that only the new capacities on the Room Information page are relevant for all rooms.

You can find more information on presence-exams in the Guideline for Presence Exams at TU Wien.
