The health of all members of the TU Wien is one of our most important concerns, as it ensures the maintenance of research and teaching activities throughout the upcoming months. For this reason, with the start of the winter semester 2020/2021, measures will be implemented with regard to access to the buildings of the TU Wien, which will facilitate contact tracing and, in the event of a Covid-19 (suspected) case, enable rapid, coordinated and meaningful action. The extent and scope of this contact person management is independent of the respective traffic light status applicable to Vienna, since even if the status is "green" a Covid-19 case can occur at the TU Wien and it must be ensured that a quick contact tracing is possible.
In order to be able to contact possible contact persons immediately in case of a Covid-19 illness or a suspected case, the TU Wien records the access to the building for all persons. The access control takes place at the respective main entrances of the buildings at the porter's lodge. If it is possible to use a different entrance, e.g. due to structural conditions, we ask you to go to the porter's lodge to register. For registration a QR code is scanned for each person. Any person with a TUNET account can retrieve this code in TISS.
