Micropohones in Lecture Rooms:

Troubleshooting:

No Image on Projector:

  1. Turn on the projector using the "Projector On" button on the right side of the touchscreen. In smaller rooms with older equipment, this may be a button panel on the wall or lectern. Please ensure that the projector is turned on. The “Power” LED on the projector should be green during operation. If it isn’t, there may be a problem with the projector or the power supply. Please submit a support request.
  2. Ensure that you have selected the correct source in the video menu (HDMI, VGA, ShareLink), and that the cable is properly connected. If you're using the HDMI input, try connecting your laptop directly (without a splitter) to the fixed HDMI cable at the lectern.
  3. Ensure that your device is configured for external display output and that necessary drivers are installed. Check the display settings to see if the external output is recognized (ExtronScaler). On a Windows computer, you can use the shortcut Windows + P to choose whether to mirror or extend the display.

Kein Ton über HDMI:

  1. Ensure that the "Video In" volume control in the audio menu is set to at least 50%, and that mute is not activated.
  2. On your device, select HDMI (ExtronScaler) as the audio output. (Right-click the volume icon in the taskbar)
  3. Ensure that the volume on your device and in the software you're using (video player, browser, etc.) is turned up, and that all current drivers are installed.

No Internet:

  1. LAN sockets must be activated in advance by Campus IT and do not provide internet access by default. Please use the Wi-Fi instead.
  2. Use your usual Wi-Fi access for TUNET, TUNET Guest, or EDUROAM. Access for external guests must be requested in advance from the event services or Campus IT.
  3. Make sure your firewall settings allow a connection to an unfamiliar network and the opening of a landing page (login screen), especially for TUNET Guest.

Document camera image distorted or upside down:

  1. Please restart the document camera.
  2. Disconnect the document camera from the power source for 5 seconds.
  3. Restart the media control system.
