TUnet refers to the comprehensive communication infrastructure at TU Wien. This campus network uses both wired and wireless technologies. As part of the TUwlan service, Campus IT provides the wireless radio-based network infrastructure - based on 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz technology - for area-wide network access.\\ This service provides staff and students of the TU Wien, as well as visiting professors and conference participants, with mobile access to the TU Wien intranet and its services, as well as internet access. We provide several TUwlan networks with different SSIDs, both encrypted (tap-proof) and unencrypted. The TUwlan also participates in the globally distributed eduroam service.\\ |
We offer you access to the TUnet via TUwlan, and thus mobile working. Flexible access to the intranet and internet with mobile clients is provided campus-wide; this enables the use of company clients and private clients (bring your own device).\\ |
