Brief description

We offer members of TU Wien a secure (encrypted) connection from any network to the TUnet, the network of the TU Wien. Access is provided via standard VPN protocols and via a web-based portal. This secure connection can be established from outside the TUnet, but also from within the TU, from the WLAN or from lecture hall connections. A fixed IPv4 address can also be assigned.

    DearColleagues,

    I have issues with VPN connection even before this cyber attack. I have been using VPN for about 5 years and I know how it works but from last week I can not use it anymore.

    Immediately after the VPN connection is established, all internet connectivity is lost (Windows shows “No Internet”).

    Details:

    • With Alles_getunnelt:
      The VPN connects successfully, but all internet access is lost (no access to TU services or external websites).

    • With TU_getunnelt:
      Internet access remains available, but I have no access to TU network resources or network licenses (e.g., CATIA / MathCAD)

    I appreciate your help and supprt.
