General View
Screenshot 1 depicts a request that has already went through a number of statuses. You can add comments and attachments here at any time.
On the right-hand side, there is an option to withdraw the application (red box/1). You can withdraw the application at any time, but only until it has been decided and is therefore legally binding. If you click on the link, a comment window will open where you can enter the reason.
You will also find a simplified process flow on the right-hand side (blue box/2), which shows you which step the request is currently in.
Status "Review by Deanery"
As soon as the Dean's Office starts processing the request, the status changes to "Review by Deanery".
Status "Awaiting Student Response"
If it is determined during the "Review by Deanery" that revisions are needed, the status will be changed to "Awaiting Student Response".
A comment from the dean's office staff will let you know what needs to be improved. You have two weeks from the date the comment was received to revise the request. If you have not responded after 2 weeks, the request will be closed automatically.
To improve the request, you can add both text and attachments in the comment field (Screenshot 2, red box/1). After the comment has been sent, the status is automatically changed back to "Review by Deanery".
You can add comments and attachments at any time using the comment field.
Status "Review by Admission Office"
If the request is in accordance, an official request for recognition is submitted, which is now reviewed by the Admission Office.
If the Admission Office determines that the application needs to be improved, the status changes to "Interim audit (Admission Office)". If everything is in order, the application is sent to the Dean of Academic Affairs.
Status "Interim audit (Admission Office)"
If the request needs to be improved, the status changes to "Interim audit (Admission Office)".
The Admission Office will inform you by adding a comment about what needs to be improved. As with the status "Awaiting Student Response", you can add a comment. After the comment has been sent, the status is automatically changed back to "Review by Admission Office".
The Admission Office checks the request again. If everything is in order, the status changes to "Review by Dean of Academic Affairs".
Status "Review by Dean of Academic Affairs"
In this step, the Dean of Academic Affairs will review the request on a subject-specific level.
If there is a problem with the request, the status changes to "Interim audit (Dean of Academic Affairs)".
Status "Interim audit (Dean of Academic Affairs)"
If the request requires revision after reaching the Dean of Academic Affairs, the status will be updated to "Interim audit (Dean of Academic Affairs)".
A comment explaining the problem is added in the same way as described in the section Interim audit (Admission Office). You can now add a comment, which will automatically change the status back to "Review by Admission Office".
Your request will be sent once again to the Admission Office and then to the Dean of Academic Affairs for review.
Statuses "Full Recognition", "Partial Recognition" and "Declined"
After the Dean of Academic Affairs has checked the request, a decision is made as to whether the request can be granted in full or whether it will be partially recognised or declined.
- Full Recognition: The entire request is granted.
- Partial Recognition: Only parts of the request can be granted. This is clarified in the status "Interim audit (Dean of Academic Affairs)".
- Declined: The request is declined. This is clarified in the status "Interim audit (Dean of Academic Affairs)".
Status "Decree Being Issued"
After the status "Partial Recognition" or "Declined", the system switches to this status to issue the decree.
Status "Completed"
The request is now complete and the recognised certificates will be uploaded to TISS.
