TUWEL is the central learning platform of the TU Wien and stands for "Technische Universität Wien E-Learning" (Technical University of Vienna E-Learning).
TUWEL is based on the open-source software Moodle, one of the most widely used learning platforms in the world.
TUWEL is operated in collaboration between the two departments Digital Teaching and Learning and Educational Technologies.
