Certificates
Before establishing a connection to the TUwlan, you should always check the certificates of the servers to which your client is connected:
If you set up an encrypted TUwlan connection (SSID “tunet” or SSID “eduroam”) in the TU Wien network, please look at the certificates (if supported by your device) when connecting and check them using the information below (names and fingerprints).
The certificate of the Radius servers of TU Wien is radius.it.tuwien.ac.at with the actual host names of the two Radius servers as additional entries (odo.kom.tuwien.ac.at and nog.kom.tuwien.ac.at).
If you find an authentication server in the TUwlan that is obviously impersonating a false Radius server, please contact trouble@noc.tuwien.ac.at immediately.
