Oral exams must in general be held online.

The following applies to justified exceptions: Rooms can be declared by the responsible deanary to perform mandatory oral exams, which have no option to be held in an online format. The dean of studies is responsible for deciding the necessity and must confirm this.

The compilance of the safety measures in accordance with the BMBWF hygiene plan must be observed at all times:

  • "For oral exams, a distance of at least two meters between the examiner and the candidate (as well as from any third person - keyword trust person) must be observed. The table surface must be disinfected after each exam.
  • The rooms of the exam must be ventilated at least once an hour (cross ventilation if possible) and equipped with disinfectants.
  • Each candidate must bring their own writing instrument."

The rooms declared for this are to be reported by the deanery to the central teaching- and learning-resource-management (zentrale Lehr- und Lernressourcenmanagement). GUT provides disinfectants for these so that the deanery can carry out the cleaning independently between the tests.

There are two ways to obtain access-authorization for the students affected:

  • The room is stored in TISS: If the room is stored in TISS, an examination can be created via the course-administration, through which the student receives the access-authorization via TISS.
  • The room is not stored in TISS: If the room is not stored in TISS, the deanery can issue an "access authorization" ("Zutrittsbestätigung"), which must be presented to the porter instead of the confirmation generated by TISS when entering the building.
