Advanced Mathematics (Vertiefung Mathematik)
Courses within the Modul:
Two lectures with associated or integrated exercises must be completed from the following list.
The two Functional Analysis lectures are considered collectively as one lecture for the purposes of fulfilling the module requirement.

- 2,0/1,0 UE Functional Analysis
- 1,5/1,0 VO Functional Analysis for WM/FAM

Students who opt for Functional Analysis must take both of the following lectures:
- VO Functional Analysis (along with the corresponding UE Functional Analysis)
- and VO Functional Analysis for WM/FAM.
The two lectures are held one after the other within the summer semester schedule. The Functional Analysis tarts at the beginning of the semester and runs until around mid-May, After that, the "advanced lecture" Functional Analysis for WM/FAM begins and continues until the end of the semester.
